Designed by Eckenhoff Saunders, Marielle on the Park carries the site’s architectural lineage, translating it into a contemporary park-front form.
The building’s slender profile steps inward as it rises, a subtle echo of the historic Deco and Mayan Revival language once tied to the grounds of the park. Around the windows, stepped reveals add depth and shadow. Expansive glass brings lightness to the upper floors, while masonry grounds the base to the texture of the neighborhood.Â
The result is a building shaped by architectural memory, park geometry, and community input, designed to fit the feel of the West Loop.Â
